Starz Artistic Performance Company
8 years ago, we developed a new branch called “Starz Artistic Performance Company.” This company was formed and is directed by Lacey Cheek.
Starz Artistic Performance Company has become a well-known name in the Southeast. Hard working and technically accomplished students have had the opportunity to travel to compete and perform. They attend various conventions and take from professional instructors at WCDE, Applause, Starpower, Encore, Starsystems, and many more.
Some students have appeared on Showtime at the Apollo, been invited to dance on Broadway, and traveled to New York City, Las Vegas, California, Florida, Virginia, Tennessee, and all over the Southeast!
Accomplished students audition for outside companies to land roles in Ballets, and various shows, and receive scholarships to prestigious universities. This year one of our students will be attending Juilliard in New York City.
Our purpose is to provide performance, competition, and audition experience to give students the extra edge and knowledge to succeed in the Dance world and life.
