Why Choose Us?

5 things every parent should know before choosing a dance studio

DEAR DANCE STUDENT & PARENT,

This will be our 40th year and we hope you'll join our "Dance Family" and learn why we've been so successful! Thank you for requesting fall registration information. Enclosed you will find a schedule of classes we offer, along with the class fees. OUR CLASSES BEGIN ON MONDAY SEPTEMBER 8th (week after labor day). We feel confident we have something for every one of all levels and ages. We offer once-a-week classes in Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Clogging, Hip Hop, and Pom for ages 2 1/5 years to adults at our Greenville and Mauldin locations. These students perform in our Spring Recital the last weekend in May at McAlister Auditorium at Furman University. We also offer performing/competitive teams for those who want to perform at local high schools, colleges, and various events in our community as well as attending several competitions and conventions during the year. These teams are our most advanced level. These students take several classes each week in Jazz, Ballet, Technique, Tap, Modern, and Clogging, depending on the particular dance team they are a member of. Students are placed in performing companies by audition only. We offer competitive dance at both locations.

There is a registration fee of $25. This fee is per family not per student. There is a minimum requirement of 6 students per class. If the class you have signed up for does not meet this requirement we will contact you and give you other available options.

Class fees are listed on the schedule and are due on the 1st- 5th of each month. Tuition is for 9 months (Sept-May). We offer multiple class and family discounts. Please be aware we do not send out monthly bills. All payments are set up the following ways; Pay year in Full, Automatic payment with Credit/Debit card, Post-dated checks, Automatic payment with Checking/Savings account. We do accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. This allows us to spend more time in the classroom instead of collecting payments each month at the desk. Class fees are the same each month and are not based on number of classes. Some months may be shorter due to holidays, while other months may give you an extra class. We close for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring Break. We do not follow school calendars and we do not close for teacher workdays. In case of inclement weather, please contact the school.

Recital fees for non-competitive classes are $70 for each class. These fees are divided into 4 payments included in your Sep.-Dec. tuition. All recital fees are due by December 1st. This includes costume, all accessories, and all auditorium fees. Competitive costumes are explained before auditions and are included in our Company Handbook. Your child will be in our Recital at McAlister Auditorium in May. These tickets are sold in advance at the studio and the day of the recital. We give trophy's for 3,5,7,10,15,20 years of completed dance. These are given to the student on stage the night of our Recital. Years from other schools are transferable, however, we do require that you purchase the first trophy with us. All students not receiving an award on stage will receive a participation award in their class the last week of dance.
